Seminar Leadership

Zoe is the Director of Photography and Social Media for HOBY Ohio North and a 2017 alumna. A senior at Kent State University, she is set to attend NEOMED for her PharmD. Zoe works at Aultman as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the ER and is also a freelance photographer. In her free time, she enjoys attending concerts, sporting events, and spending quality moments with her friends, family, and her golden-doodle, Maxwell.

Carly Ogilvie is a 2019 Southwest Ohio and World Leadership Congress alum. This will be her 6th year volunteering with HOBY. She has served as a junior and adult facilitator and is super excited to be the Director of Junior Staff this year! Carly is a senior early childhood education major at Murray State University. In her free time, you can find Carly cuddling with her cat, Driftwood, and reading a book.

Adeline first joined HOBY in 2018 as an ambassador for Our Lady of the Elms in Akron, OH. Over the years, she has volunteered in various roles, including operations, facilitation, and director staff. She is thrilled to serve as the 2025 Director of Facilitation.

Adeline is an alumna of Miami of Ohio with degrees in Political Science and Education Studies. She now works in tech consulting and resides in Indianapolis, IN. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, coaching high school speech & debate, and cheering on women’s sports. Adeline’s favorite part of HOBY is reuniting with old friends and leaving each seminar with new ones.

Rachel Roux is the Director of Programming for HOBY Ohio North. A passionate advocate for youth leadership, Rachel is a 2017 HOBY Ohio North and World Leadership Congress alumna. Since then, she has dedicated herself to serving the HOBY community in various roles.

Rachel currently works in marketing in Columbus, Ohio, where she brings her creativity and enthusiasm to her professional endeavors. She is excited to share her leadership experiences and support the next generation of leaders through her role with HOBY Ohio North.

Anthony Comer II is a proud HOBY 2019 alumnus and currently serves as the Director of Recruitment. He is a member of the Class of 2025 at John Carroll University, where he is pursuing a major in Exercise Science. Anthony has a passion for basketball, baseball, and dancing. His favorite aspect of HOBY is the opportunity to hear from impactful speakers who inspire and motivate others to make a difference.

Emily Sherwood, a HOBY 2008 alum, is passionate about empowering young leaders. She attended the University of Akron for her undergraduate studies and earned her law degree from Case Western Reserve University. Emily currently works at John Carroll University as the Director of Community Standards and Student Wellbeing and the Title IX Coordinator. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting and kickboxing. Her favorite part of HOBY is witnessing the incredible growth students achieve as leaders in just a few short days.

A 1988 alum, Jason has been volunteering at HOBY North for 16 years as the Leadership Chair, adult facilitator, operations and recruitment Director as well as filling in as a guest speaker. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University College of Engineering and a Navy Veteran he has seen the world over.

​Currently the Director of Solutions for Tremco in Beachwood, Ohio, Jason enjoys cheering for his hometown Pittsburgh sports teams and playing volleyball.
